Not only did he define the borders of this promised land but he called these people whom he gave this land his “chosen people” out of ALL the earth! I didn’t write the book but I sure know what it says and will NEVER shrink from telling people the truth that appear not to know it. 🙂

@ididntknow No it wasn’t cause God had already given this land to the descendants of Jacob! Jacob was renamed Israel by God, himself and he gave it to Jacob and his descendants perpetually … and guess what? The Arabs will NEVER ever own Israel!

@VeronicaJane The bible is a fictional piece of work, not an actual "made by god" book, but if you want to believe it is something more that is your decision. Archaeological data.. was that documented by bible thumpers? Has anyone fact checked it?

@JamesBugman well since a lot of the archaeological work was done with jewish personnel, I doubt they would qualify as "bible thumpers".... Are you sating the ruins and artifacts such as coinage was faked? Or maybe the Romans aren't to be believed?

My dear friend, I don’t have all the answers how it came into being… but I DO know that the Holy Bible declares that HE (God) gave the land to Abraham, Issac and Jacob and their descendants… for an everlasting possession. I also DO know that he said he’d bring them home again and he did just that!
