@Bumbles i think israel have made this rather apparent that they are going not give hamas a second bite of the cherry too launch another terrorist attack on israeli soil . what is the great tragedy is israel are baying for palestinian blood and do not appear too be bothered or care how many innocent palestinians they kill too gain there objective and goal of ridding palestine of hamas for once and for all

@smiler2012 I think this is basically right and analogous to how the Allies fought WW2. It’s tragic because innocent people are being killed but the status quo ante is impossible. Hamas managed to hit the Jews Holocaust deep. I pity any foe who does that.
