I support peace [I Love Israel]

I want peace in the Middle East but I am on the side of the Israelis.
They have a right to their land and to live in peace, side by side, with other counts and other races.
I want the fighting to end but the Palestinians have to stop attacking the Israelis.

Palestinians don’t have a right to their land?
@QuixoticSoul Israelis don't have a right to theirs?
QuixoticSoul · 41-45, M
@LordShadowfire I’d say that neither of them have a right to anything (nobody has a right to land, it’s all stolen), but they both need to learn how to live together.
@QuixoticSoul Just saying, Israel was there like thousands of years ago before the Romans occupied it, so there's that.

@LordShadowfire they had a right. Jews already lived in it before the Zionist invasion. They had a right to !
Christians Muslims and Jews all did
You fail to understand that Palestinians embraced diff religions they were/are Muslim Christian Jews..
They have been living in Palestine for hundreds and thousands of years
Till you came in 1900s
Invading it
And killed most of them
Ethnic cleansing yes and keep doing it till this day
And the rest you treat them like shit till this day
@Moon3624 I admit to not knowing much about the average Palestinian, apart from what the PLO and other organizations have done in the past.

Also, to my knowledge, I didn't invade anything in 1900. I could be wrong, though. 😆

@LordShadowfire your government did, and as you keep supporting your government the oppression will continue. It’s simple English
@Moon3624 Dude. You took the not-serious part of my answer seriously, and ignored the rest.
Moon3624 · 18-21, F
@LordShadowfire sorry but to me this topic is not something I can joke about
QuixoticSoul · 41-45, M
@LordShadowfire So? Before that the land was under control of Egypt. Does Egypt have the right to it now?
@Moon3624 Fair enough. I got into a major fight with someone the other day because I didn't recognize that they had started trolling while I was being serious.
@QuixoticSoul Egyptians still have a homeland. Where is Israel if not right there?
QuixoticSoul · 41-45, M
@LordShadowfire And Palestinians?
@LordShadowfire I am going to repeat this from the other night...

The Ottomans held the Levant for centuries and ceded the area after WW1. Then there were two different partitions and after the last one, poof, a Jewish state of Israel. Legitimate as any state created during a partition.

In some sense it is like the Indian partition. A god awful fucking mess. Just a different flavor.

Terrorism and strife and war aside, it’s hard to reject anyone’s land claims. I mean, let’s get practical. What do you do with 5M+ Palestinians who were there for centuries under the Ottomans?

The argument that there was an Israel before the Romans is really only a religious narrative. Look at the prehistory. This was sweet area the Levant. Inhabited back into prehistory.
GerOttman · 61-69, M
@QuixoticSoul The Palestinians would get a lot more sympathy if they would stop killing other people and hiding behind their own women and children.
QuixoticSoul · 41-45, M
@GerOttman The killing is pretty one sided, and the tactical options available to both sides dictate the style of engagement.
@CopperCicada And I freely admit I don't have a good solution to the problem. A two-state solution is not viable, in my opinion, due to decades of bad blood. (Current Israeli leadership isn't helping, either.) I'm just saying the Israelis don't have another place to go if they lose it.
QuixoticSoul · 41-45, M
@LordShadowfire Palestinians don’t have another place to go to either 🤷‍♂️
@LordShadowfire Nobody has anywhere to go.
@QuixoticSoul I seem to be watching a different news feed than you...
QuixoticSoul · 41-45, M
@LordShadowfire Probably not.
@CopperCicada Palestinians are Arabic, yes? Or am I mistaken? Because I see a ton of Arabic-occupied territory, and only a small amount of Jewish-occupied territory. But do correct me if I'm wrong.
SW-User
@CopperCicada There is no reasoning here.
@SW-User Don't start, Trollbot 5000.
@LordShadowfire I hate to have to point this out. But “Arabic” is a language group, and in some contexts a cultural and political identity.

“Arabic” is not a nationality or an ethnicity.

Saying Palestinians should go become Egyptians because they are “Arabs” is sort of like telling an American to go hang out in Canada because we both speak English.

Just to be clear. I am not against Israeli sovereignty. That ship has sailed. Decades ago.
@CopperCicada I always thought it was an ethnic group for some reason. Sorry.
