For every attack against a country there is a response

That response is not always violent.

Did Trump consider how Iran ( the country that controls the thoroughfare of all ships through the straits of Hormuz the represent the Entrance to the Persian Gulf) might react when attacked by the US?

A large percentage of oil destined for the world leaves the Middle East and passes THROUGH the straights of HORMUZ.

But hey Americans LOVE EXPENSIVE GAS!

Yeah, I'm pretty sure he did....

@justanothername Have you listened to Cain's briefing?
justanothername · 51-55, M
@daydeeo no I did not listen to the briefing. I don’t need to.
The two most likely outcomes from Trumps decision to bomb Iran are extended costly war in the Middle East involving the US and higher gas prices due to Iran preventing any oil tankers from leaving the Persian Gulf.

Trump campaigned on NOT STARTING WARS. He blamed Kamala for that.

@justanothername I guess you don’t know the president as good as you think you do
CountScrofula · 41-45, M
It's *extremely* funny how he was all gung ho and then realized that Iran can destroy the oil economy with a few mines and suddenly he needs a ceasefire immediately.

hope you bought several hundred barrels before biden took office

@1490wayb Ironic how Biden and Trump have essentially identical foreign policies, yet each manages to point fingers at the other.

America is becoming dependent on our own natural resources once again
Jake966 · 56-60, M
@PicturesOfABetterTomorrow it’s amazing how you forgot that during Trump‘s first presidency America was in 100% reliant on its own natural resources and a little education for you. We are drilling for oil in the Gulf of Mexico or better yet the Gulf of America.

@Jake966 You might want to do a basic 2 minute Google search on different oil types before repeatedly embarrassing yourself like this.

We can't take the chance with a terrorist group owning a nuke

@hippyjoe1955 that is what Google says

@smileylovesgaming I didn't check Google. I have a good memory for things like that. I am a bit of a history buff. I remember being very angry with Canadian PM Harper who sent Canada's airplanes to help destroy Libya. Such a stupid senseless act. Funny thing is that that war pretty much finished PM Harper's career. He stayed in power for a few years but he was never the same respected man he once was. I think the same just happened to Trump and I am not taking any satisfaction in that. I don't know who forced him to do it but I am certain he was forced against his better judgement. I suspect death threats against the president or his family.
@smileylovesgaming Libya was destroyed by the US for no reason other then not being subservient in 2012. The US turned it from the country with the highest standard of living in Africa to bronze age tribal fiefdoms with AKs and literal open air slave markets.

It doesn't even exist as a nation anymore.

And this is just the latest of the very long list of nations attacked by the US for not being subservient.

In the American empire you are either a vassal or an enemy.

And even Henry Kissinger said being a friend of the US is lethal.
Crashing the economy, wars, mayhem - it's how you hang onto hegemony.
“Did tRUMP consider…

Of course not! Nor will he accept any responsibility for the inevitable consequences of his rash action…

When it comes to considering consequences Trump is worse than a 4 year old.

He can barely grapple with 1st order consequences forget any further down the chain.
Donald never made the decision to invade Iran. Israel made it for him.
