@ThePatientAnarchist That other post of fear of mine you reacted to? That inner child took a sigh of relief tonight. I feel the suffering of innocents in all these conflicts but Iran has been too much of a hot iron and if anyone were going to push the button on the US their evilness surely would.

It's interesting there are some reports, although unsubstantiated, and social media claims indicating that Iranian military officers are reaching out to crown prince Reza Pahlavi expressing their intent to defect. Some of these reports suggest they're seeking to pledge allegiance to him and support a transition to democracy after the current Iranian regime falls. Here's a video of a member of the Imperial Air Force pilots association of Iran urging the Iranian military to continue their defection from the Islamic occupation to join the people (about 13:55min)...
