British people (please no overseas woke knobs), why would people need police protection for putting up British flags in Birmingham, Britain?

Apparently some Councils are taking them down Nationalism is out nowadays, my Council in Caerphilly so far have turned a blind eye to flags flying from lamp-posts on Caerphilly mountain.

@senghenydd Nationalism is not out; racism is. And that's why the majority of British people are flying the flags.
