You notably missed out Truss and Eden. The latter came too late in life to the job and his judgment was impaired by medical problems. Truss had no such excuses. Among other players were Heath and May, both introverts who were hobbled by a seeming inability to take advice and share decision making. Douglas-Home? 'Mr. 363 days'? He didn't really fit into the Beatle era.
