so many Americans in london paying respects to Queen of England

strange how so many americans go on and on about independance day and yet flock over to london for the funeral of the Queen of England
LizOwen · 41-45, F
Or even the Queen of Great Britain.
The Americans are very welcome. Their presence is much appreciated and we thank them for their concern.
GovanDUNNY · 36-40, M
You would think British and Americans were adversaries the way some people go on .Sir Tony Blair was straight over to support President Bush after 9/11 .Britain ,Australia, Canada, New Zealand ,and the USA are assured back up from each other in a crisis. Just saying
Slade · 56-60, M
@GovanDUNNY uh no!
GovanDUNNY · 36-40, M
@Slade oh but yea
@GovanDUNNY yanks often speakof britain in derogatory ways, not sure why when britainis aemricas biggest ally
LizOwen · 41-45, F
Elizabeth was the Queen of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. The last queen who was solely Queen of England died in 1603.
@LizOwen i know but england is the biggest country and most scottish people live in england,who cares if we insult northern ireland
LizOwen · 41-45, F
@kutee Biggest but not only. And most Scottish people live in Scotland. Calling Elizabeth Queen of England would equate to calling Biden President of California. And why insult the people of Northern Ireland?
LizOwen · 41-45, F
@kutee No, just historical facts that every school child should learn. I certainly learned it at school.
MartinII · 70-79, M
I’m not sure whether it’s strange, but it’s much appreciated.
caPnAhab · 26-30, M
I don't think so. This is how they use their independence.
caPnAhab · 26-30, M
@kutee nobody. I'm just saying they don't

Which is also me explaining why I don't think it's strange
@caPnAhab is everything a fight with yanks, i was just commenting,no need to get your knicker sin a twist
caPnAhab · 26-30, M
@kutee if you think I've got my knickers in a twist, that is very laughable

I'm as cool as a cucumber, I've already dropped the conversation
NickiHijab · F
These Americans that are mourning more than brits are confusing me tbh
texasborn89 · 31-35, M
@NickiHijab im not mourning her
@texasborn89 why not, are you an angry person
@NickiHijab no tmore but as much id say yes, there are millionsof brits lining up to see queens coffin
We actually hear very little about Royals here unless maybe you have family still living in the U.K. I do hate seeing Queen Elizabeth pass away though she seemed genuinely nice.
@LostNForgotten you arent, your a tiny bit of it, your population is half that of the eu.
@kutee I know I was only kidding
@LostNForgotten sorry, i missed that
RoxClymer · 41-45, M
not strange at all, fits in with the American way of thinking,
Support the Monarchy vs Support America
yes vs no
north vs south
black vs white
liberals vs conservatives
1%ers vs poverty

never any middle ground
@RoxClymer isee. interesting convept
RoxClymer · 41-45, M
@kutee even more so when you're one of lost middle ground Americans, thinking to yourself "WTF is going on with this country...???"....like Me.
@RoxClymer yes there does seem to be alot of hatred inusa right now,
GovanDUNNY · 36-40, M
Most Americans are Royalists @ heart
