If it gives you any comfort in knowing, I was out sailing on a fiord in northern Sweden today near the border with Finland and the smoke from the Canadian west has made it's way all the way here because our air is blue!
The smokey air smells like a combination of campfire smoke and a burning plastics dump site around here! We know it's not our smoke because nothing is on fire here in Sweden and we don't have any plastics dump sites! 🇸🇪🇨🇦

@Roundandroundwego I guess people are just so used to it. I just joined a group called stop the spray, forests get sprayed with glysophosphate here to control what species of tree grow. It's damaging to wildlife and their habitat obviously. Moose for one. But fires are worse where this happens as well. It's very scary. It's hard to imagine being the geniuses that approve and think of this kind of stuff.
