Should Canada become the 51st US state ?

While left-leaning Canadians are balking at the idea of a Trump take-over, some say they'd jump at the chance to have the Donald in charge.

The US president-elect this week made his strongest bid yet to take over Canada, offering its people a 60 percent tax cut if they agree to join the US and become the 51st US state.

I don't think Trump was serious. BUT if Canadians WANT to become part of the United States, it would help THEM out a LOT. I had no idea that they were unable to keep their emergency rooms open up there. It sounds as though they are having a really hard time!

Of course, Trudeau is a commie dipsh!t, worse than Biden in many ways, so it's not surprising that he led his country right into the toilet.

@Nimbus He is saying that because he wants Greenland to be part of our outer defenses. Immediately after he said that, Denmark earmarked 2 billion dollars to bolster Greenland's defenses. Now, I am not saying that Denmark would actually use their Greenland defenses to ward off our enemies, but it would certainly prevent Trump from pursuing his idea if they were to verbalize that to Trump.

@cherokeepatti Nope. No passports required when traveling to ANY US territory...😊 But Denmark will not allow Trump to buy Greenland from them. They have earmarked two billion dollars to improve its defense, in fact.

@4meAndyou I have no desire to visit Greenland. Even the residents have a high level of depression there, suicides too. I was commenting on Canada more than Greenland.
