I cook the sap and bottle it and pass it all to the family that helps
@HumanEarth how many families involved? How long does it take to harvest and process?
HumanEarth · 56-60, F
A couple a weeks to a month for sap collection. Equal amount of time to cook the sap down

I'm Canadian and I find this funny.

That’d work for me too. And I’ve never stepped foot in Canada.

This Canadian likes pancakes but not maple syrup. I much prefer Rogers Golden Syrup the kind that used to come in a can. You could use the can for all kinds of things including Jam Can Curling. Doesn't get much more Canadian than Jam Can Curling.
@hippyjoe1955 pancakes without Canadian maple syrup is like walking nekkid in a blizzard!
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@Guardian I would prefer to be nekkid in a blizzard than eat maple syrup. Just can't down the taste.
@hippyjoe1955 Bite Your Tongue! You Sir, CANNOT be Canajun, eh?!
