In Canada they want you to leave spare key at the front door to invite criminals into your home

I suppose there still are parts of the world where you can leave your house and/or your car unlocked (and/or with house or car windows open) and it's perfectly safe. Not in my neighbourhood sadly (and I'm not in Canada). But being 'socially conditioned' to make it easier for crimimals to enter your home? FFS!
