Why did we aplaud WWII for so long? Isn't war a fascist project?

The rhodes/milner round tab!e are still applauding.....oh and the canadian government adore a bi-partisan standing ovation 😉

Because the people in power knew they could use it in their propaganda.

We profited for a while before committing troops directly .

I think the applause was for the defeat of the fascists and Nazis.
