This happened in Washington state near where I live. An elderly couple, who were known to help homeless people, invited a young homeless woman to live in their backyard in her tent. She got inside the house, stabbed them with a kitchen knife and tried setting them on fire. They thought she was harmless.
Does anyone really want to take that type of risk with an illegal immigrant?
Of course not, that would breach the laws of my country and undermine civil society.
Would I take in an irregular asylum seeker while their claim was being progressed to prevent them from becoming homeless or harrassed by right wing thugs? Yes.
@OriginalNedKelly i’m not against aliens just ongoing crime tho one might argue entering and staying illegally is a crime so.. but there’s people with good and bad intentions beyond that.. 😐
