On a scale of 1 to force you to enter a crowded billabong, how insulting is this to an Australian?

Makes me wonder how many Texans can trace their line back to native Americans.
But then the Uk is almost wholly a migrant population when you go back far enough.

@jenni100 so did I.
But just seeing if Texans have a sense of humour matching that of our very proud Australian brethren.
@72andy Sure, but the English not one of the more recent by any stretch.

@72andy in my experience they do. But I may not since i did not see that point in your OP.
Does this qualify?

The cat busted my 80$ Kmart swimming pool with its claws.. so I built a home made Roman bath… with heating option and a lid, out of all the things I had stored around the yard

That's gotta be pretty darn insulting. I'll bet it makes them cry!

I can live with the "British" . And my wife was once "Ma'am"ed half to death by an impossibly tall young texan in LAX for over an hour. He never stopped smiling down at her for a moment. And I teased her about it for a month. So on that basis I can live with it..😷
