Finally a change of federal government in over 10 years.

Looking at the results, the winners were the independents with a +2.2% swing so far. The LNP was definitely on the nose with voters, probably because of their Peter Griffin impersonator leader pushing his own adendas.

But will Labor have a majority, or will they have to woo the cross benches? Who will have control of the senat? Stay tuned for the answers to these and other intriguing questions.

@Bushranger So far Labor has won 71 seats - 5 short of being able to form a majority government. But it's enough to claim victory.

@zonavar68 A victory, but will still need the back benches for support. Also they had an overall negative swing, not as bad as the LNP but still a negative swing. I think people want more from their government, especially on climate issues.

@Bushranger Indeed - it's not going to be a majority government going on the results so far. But a change of government is always a Good Thing.
