And the best part. The Labor party put up a mediocre leader and a so so campiagn. and the conservative right leaning governent lost seats not only to them, but the right lite Independents and Greens as well. They are really on the nose with the voters and with Pr Potato head as the heir apparent they are likely to spend a couple of terms in the wilderness to grow a new soul, or search the old one..😷

@whowasthatmaskedman Ditching the Pentecostal die-hard fundy religious mantra would be a good start. And also, Katherine 'Slutty' Deves (Scomo's 'captains pick' in the seat of Warringah) lost to Zali Steggall.

@whowasthatmaskedman but it's like the UK the Tories misbehave so badly that they can't be re elected without it being out and out corruption. But then in 8 years time when people are pissed with a bit of average government they'll be back in again to rob the public purse.

@GeniUs Yes. I agree.. And all things considered. (specially the terrible standard of politicians on both sides) I believe in throwing out whoever after two or three terms do that those abused by the last party get something back and everything gets done over time. The truth is that a strong centre government is probably the best answer. But what we have is a swinging pendulum, so I'll work with that.. Unless you are in America, where the pendulum swings between the right and the extreme right.😷

@whowasthatmaskedman Chuck them out after a couple of terms has been my mantra for a while now, after consecutive wins they feel invulnerable.

@GeniUs The idealism wains and the zeal dries out. They get bored and corrupt. Our lot really should have gone last time..😷
