I feel sorry for all of the American citizens were will be leaving behind in Afghanistan.

We will be abandoning them to the "mercy" of the Taliban and ISIS.

@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout When Biden passes away, they should put the names of those thirteen on his tombstone.
Why didn't they get out when things went sour?

@DropTopDig The government didn't properly warn our citizens partly because they ignored warnings of how quickly the Taliban might take over.
Then the situation became worse. Some Americans cannot get to the airport because of the situation in the street. Some arrive at the airport but cannot reach through the crowds. Flight schedules are not published. There are no commercial flights and everyone is clamoring to enter the sporadic flights that do arrive.
@REMsleep I didn't know that. I don't follow the Middle East bc somewhere somebody's fighting. Most people wouldn't approve of my opinion on what we should have done after the Iran hostage crisis, another bullet in my gun that Reagan was the 2nd biggest liar after Trump. If the gov't had done what I thought they should, there would be NO trouble in the ME.

@DropTopDig I actually wasn't following the situation in Afghanistan closely at all but I began watching videos and reporting recently which was done within this past year.
I noticed that Afghanistan had really improved so much. Shopping, hotels, nice restaurants. If I was an American that had a job or legitimate reason to be there I think that I would have felt pretty safe.
On the news they never showed this side of Kabul.
Many Afghan Americans were visiting. The country had been stable for well over 15years.

Another thing that I noticed was that many alternative news agencies such as Vice news were reporting for the past year that the Taliban was prepared for a resurgence so our government-Biden saying that no one warned them of how possible this level of take over was is a total lie.

Another lie is that the Afghan Army just ran away from the Taliban. This is partly true but several hundred top elite Afghan Military had prepared a strong hold and was prepared to fight but the Taliban smartly negotiated with the top Afghan brass that if this elite group would stand down that they would allow all US and any who had paperwork to leave to exit without fight or question so their commanders ordered them to leave.
I have only seen this reported by Vice that was on the ground with these Afghan troops as it occured.

🤔......Won't the Afghan Army be there to protect the Afghan people?
@Jimmy2016 they like their families too much.. and they weren’t getting paid for months.. the corrupt Afghan government was keeping the American tax dollars they were supposed to be giving them in wages
