Has the US entertainment industry stopped making movies?

Seems like whenever I go to Prime or NetFlix I go through a half dozen false starts before finding movies where they speak English. I don't mind foreign movies with English subtitles, but then I have to wear my glasses and too often the subbies fly by so fast that I have to occasionally stop the program and hit reverse for a few seconds.

80% plus of everything I buy seems to be made in China or someplace other than an English speaking location. Apparently that includes movies.

I don't think we can rely on Hollywood to entertain us, anymore. They are out of ideas, and they are too politically correct to appeal to the general American public. They've become an iconoclastic institution bent of the destruction of American traditions and morality.

ALSO...Prime and Netflix obviously can't afford to buy more American made movies...so they've gone to the bargain store.
@4meAndyou Most of my favorite movies over the past few years were not US movies. Even with the non English language and English subtitles.
