You know that one post someone made, about complaining about why Americans say the name of their state

In addition of, or instead of saying the United States?. Like dude, the state of Texas is bigger than Japan. The state of Wyoming and 10 other states are bigger than the U.K. it's almost 3000 miles from one coast to another. Like...That's why. I'd say U.K, etc. or name of my country if I lived in a smaller country 🤷🏼 idk that's just me. Meh.

moreover, town / city names are frequently reused throughout the US (generally in different states, but sometimes the same place name may be used twice even within one state)

So Podunk Holler, US is rarely specific enough, it could be Podunk Holler, Arkabama, US, or Podunk Holler, Pennsyltucky, US
