Keep our great veterans in your thoughts this weekend. Because of them, you have a 3 day weekend. Those in foreign countries, please do not forget, that many American soldiers gave their lives to protect other countries.

@kodiac they went out to fight with the intent to protect my rights particularly? Don't be silly, most go to war because they want the glory or its all they know or simply want to kill people

@HannahSky who's talking about black and white thinking? The Conservative government is making lives of regular working class people whilst big companies are making billions in profits.
@HannahSky I wish some of these folks would move to a country without a military, and report to us how much they love it there. I can't think of one, maybe Somalia? they would love that.
@Guitarman123 You would wash out of boot camp by day two. You would be crying and shaking with fear. That is why the military wouldn't take someone like you. But don't worry they will still protect you.
@HannahSky I would love to see all young people do a couple years in the military. But, as we see here, many would crumble in boot camp, you can tell they would never be able to handle it After reading some of your posts, I believe you would make it no problem, because it's mostly attitude. I loved boot camp, and my 8 years in the military. The pay was lousy, especially back when I was in.
