I don’t know enough about how he is as a Republican to say. But the party definitely needs to be rescued from the MAGAs if they’re ever to be taken seriously again.
He was a college football hero but LOUSY as a pro. I believe his heart is in the right place. He's certainly a step up from the likes of Trump and Vance.
Better alternative because he is devoutly anti-Trump. I really don't know enough about the complexities of American politics (ALL politics, actually). He wanted to repeal Obamacare so that's a disqualifier right there.
@rinkydinkydoink Reagan began the division. He said the Democratic party left him. He is correct. Under LBJ, with all his faults, got civil rights and voting rights acts passed. Reagan was not a champion of equality for all.
