I thought if any person fulfilled the requirements they are put on a ballot and the voters can decide? Should "election officials" be allowed to tell us who we can vote for?
IronHamster · 56-60, M
@fanuc2013 Definitely "election interfere" if not "insurrection." Since liberals already decided to change word meanings to fit their world view, I thing we should call limiting ballot selections "premeditated murder" and prosecute them accordingly.
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@fanuc2013 That's exactly right. And one of the requirements is that the person on the ballot hasn't engaged in an insurrection against the nation. Trump fails on that requirement, hence his potential movement. Actions have consequences. Who knew?

@fanuc2013
No person shall be a Senator or Representative in Congress, or elector of President and Vice-President, or hold any office, civil or military, under the United States, or under any State, who, having previously taken an oath, as a member of Congress, or as an officer of the United States, or as a member of any State legislature, or as an executive or judicial officer of any State, to support the Constitution of the United States, shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof. But Congress may by a vote of two-thirds of each House, remove such disability.
fanuc2013 · 51-55, F
@LordShadowfire Ok, but the FBI stated that Jan6 was NOT an insurrection. So, by your definition no one could be charged or be a party to, an "insurrection" that officially never happened!
LordShadowfire · 100+, M
@fanuc2013 I don't see how they reached that conclusion. He literally encouraged people to walk into the Capitol deliberate attempt to stop the cemocratic counting of votes by means of intimidation and fear.
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@LordShadowfire @fanuc2013 Not only that, but over 1,100 people so far have pleaded guilty or been convicted of crimes related to January 6, including seditious conspiracy. Those people were there at the request of Trump.
LordShadowfire · 100+, M
@windinhishair Yet according to @fanuc2013, they pled guilty to a nonexistent crime. 😆
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@LordShadowfire Well, they are members of the Trump Cult, so not the sharpest tools in the shed, but even they are unlikely to plead guilty to crimes they didn't commit.
Strictgram · 70-79, C
@windinhishair Again false. Trump did not tell anyone to enter the capital building. You must have a very long nose by now.
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@Strictgram Trump sent his Cult to the Capitol (not capital) and even referenced it by name. The anti-American domestic terrorists followed Trump's directives and the resultant insurrection is Trump's lasting legacy.
LordShadowfire · 100+, M
@Strictgram Here. Argue with a video of the man himself.

Strictgram · 70-79, C
@windinhishair Clear to all but a leftist extremist Trump did not suggest or direct anyone to enter the building. The term Insurrection is used only by brainwashed marxists of which you are one.
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@Strictgram He didn't have to give them item by item directions on what to do. And his words are a matter of public record, as are the actions of the anti-American terrorists who tried and failed to end democracy. All of them, including Trump, need to serve jail time for their crimes against the nation, and Trump needs to be disqualified from ever holding public office again.
Strictgram · 70-79, C
@windinhishair Your usual leftist nonsense.
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@Strictgram Your usual delusional factless drivel.
Strictgram · 70-79, C
@windinhishair Ditto to anything you say.
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@Strictgram The next time you post a fact will be your first.
Strictgram · 70-79, C
@windinhishair The next time you post a pro American comment it will be your first and that's a fact.
LordShadowfire · 100+, M
@windinhishair I love how @Strictgram Just keeps on deflecting even though we're on to them. It's like they have no other strategy in life.
Strictgram · 70-79, C
@LordShadowfire From he who removes his straight jacket to type.
LordShadowfire · 100+, M
@windinhishair See? That's all @Strictgram brings to the table, is bullshit and insults. They can't even follow through on a threat to come out to Oregon and teach me some manners.

@Strictgram I post pro-American posts often. But obviously when discussing Republicans and the Trump Cult, who are anti-American and anti-Democracy, those posts aren't going to be positive, because there is nothing positive to be said.
Strictgram · 70-79, C
@windinhishair Two marxist peas in a pod.
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@Strictgram I see it is time for your lunchtime word salad. Enjoy.
