KKK Democrats? Have you been living under a rock for 59 years?
@Kwek00 These people have to go back at least that far to get to a time when Republicans weren't total pieces of shit.

@Kwek00
As a matter of fact, I haven't. They hide behind their lies.
@MarthannBann888 How many registered Democrats are there in the KKK klavern you belong to? Ask the next time you're there tonight.
Kwek00 · 41-45, M
@MarthannBann888 Yeah, the KKK democrats put a black guy into the white house, while the lincoln-republicans were protesting outside

mainly because black people aren't Americans. Because the first black guy in office, and suddenly everyone needed to see a birth certificate. But after the 8 terrible years of an American with African roots, the party of Lincoln came back into power. Tackling racism and striving for citizens to be equal by saving confederate monuments and holding passionate speeches in favor of the confederate flag.

🙇‍♂️
@Kwek00 Since Martha thinks "Democrats" are responsible for the Confederacy and the KKK, if she supports removing statues of those awful Democrat slave-owning Confederates and KKK-lovers like Robert E. Lee and Stonewall Jackson.

Of course, her answer will be "but muh history!"
Nanoose · 61-69, M
@MarthannBann888 Fun fact - na na a boo boo Trump won't be eligible to run in 2024 even if he is wearing a tutu.
@Nanoose Actually, he could run even from prison. Eugene Debs was the Communist party candidate in 1920 and ran from his prison cell.
Nanoose · 61-69, M
@LeopoldBloom Well I was thinking he won't be able to run because of an article in the 14th Amendment. But if he does run from prison I have another one ready - na na a boo boo Trump will be running his campaign from the same room were he takes a poo poo. Cheers!

@LeopoldBloom

If you knew anything about history you would know that there are no kkk in Alabama. They were defeated in civil court by a republican. Everything they have is gone. What a miss.
Kwek00 · 41-45, M
@MarthannBann888 I guess you stopped following history in 1964. And only got a partial grasp on what happened before that... considering that there was a diffrence between the democratic party, and the "southern democrat"-faction.
@MarthannBann888 You must be one of those people who wants to tear down statues of Confederates. I mean, why would you want to keep statues of those awful Democratic KKK slave-owners like Robert E. Lee and Stonewall Jackson?
MarthannBann888 · 70-79, F
@Kwek00 On the contrary, as you well know, the kkk/democrats learned how to lie better. They have sponsored numerous bills to provide income for women only. And children. Black families have gone from below 15% out of wedlock babies to over 85%out of wedlock babies. All of these babies with no fathers are the ones who have suffered from the destruction of their families. At the beginning of the 1960's the largest demographic of people starting new businesses was black people. That is all gone now. Black colleges were not put on permanent funding until Trump? What was that about??? Your people put thousands of black men in prison for super long sentences. Unfairly long sentences. Trump abolished those sentences, got training and very high paying jobs for those young men. Trump???? Enterprise zones, Trump?????

And, what good do kkk/democrats do? You pretend to be for the well being of black people, but for a significant number of black people, their circumstances get worse year after year. A few black people get rich, like kkk/democrats. Your bills to improve voting for black do the opposite. Not only that, but black people are in danger of thought to be in league with democrats to use crooked voting laws to chest on elections be "mailing in thousands of false ballots". And worse, you have not made known the good things that have happened to and for black people.
Instead, you have sought division in the country by lying and saying how prejudice republicans are just because republicans would have all people to be more independent then depending on the work of others. I wonder your motive could possibly be to do so much harm to the people of this country.
@MarthannBann888 All of those issues in the Black community were caused by racist Republican pigs like you. You're idea of helping people is letting them starve.

Go burn a cross, Adolf. You're not fooling anyone.
Kwek00 · 41-45, M
@MarthannBann888 Man... Don't get Trump in here, because he was literally supported by... what you call: "lieing democrats".

If people have the option to divorce, that's not a KKK-program. People do it on their own terms. The option of divorce excited long before the 1960s, but I guess religion lost their stranglehold on a lot of people, so people make diffrence choices in the 1960s then in the 18 hunderds. It's not driven by a governement, unless you are going to argue that a governement NEEDS to keep people married and religious. In which case, well that's a KKK thing. Because these people are authoritarian christians, they just don't care about anyone they don't consider white.

The bills to improve voting for black people? Are you argueing that white people know better and thus should vote in the black peoples interest? And if so... how many times did that happen in the US?
Your bills to improve voting for black do the opposite. Not only that, but black people are in danger of thought to be in league with democrats to use crooked voting laws to chest on elections be "mailing in thousands of false ballots".
Where is the proof for all these claims?

Yes, so all the black people need to compete with all those white folk that amassed wealth during the years black people were oppressed. Giving people equal starting chances is a bad thing, and it will surely not help the demographic that has been set back by historical devolpments. That's the same thing that Atwater was selling to white people:

White people that vote... republican after 1964. That's why the south changed from Blue to Red after the non-southern democrats signed the civil rights act. I guess you missed that part in History too.

Seeking "division"? when you start off naming an ex-president and a demagogue that put people against eachother in the most radical way possible. Are you kidding? Ignorant? Or just stupid.
spjennifer · 56-60, T
@Kwek00 Yep, she's just stupid, or vapid, or both 😵‍💫
MarthannBann888 · 70-79, F
@LeopoldBloom

Oh! You lying piece of shit. I guess it is easy for you to lie since you never anti up anything to show what you saying is true. And aren't you the good democrat? Demonizing people just like your forefathers. Always pitting one race or group against another so that you can come out the winner! One of the names for satan is the accuser. And, I certainly know who destroyed the kkk in Alabama. Since you are a mushroom, you don't know since even you would have to vote republican. So I am not going to tell you. As far as that stupid fake news you have posted, it is so fake it shows how stupid you are.

@Kwek00 I remember the senator from W Virginia who was a democrat and outed as a KKK recruiter. But after he was outed, he said he was sorry.
Kwek00 · 41-45, M
@fanuc2013 🤷‍♂️ People make mistakes... If you are talking about Byrd, he dropped his membership in 1952 according to what I found. That's even before 1964. If you are going to keep that against people as an excuse to brand the democratic party as a KKK bastion, it's flimsy at best.

But all those states that were openly racist voted in Democrat in 1960:

And then after the discussion of the civil rights act in 1964:

Then we go to 1968 when the dust really settled, and also the voting act of 1965... with George Wallace in orange:

And except for the Jimmy Carter election... has been a region that firmly voted Republican. With good reason too, considering the candidates that were put forth. So... did the south magically become less racist and suddenly saw how wrong they were? Or did the republican party just pampered to the disenfranchised southern-democrat voting base? I think if we are honest... it's the second option.
@fanuc2013 At least Byrd apologized. Trump has never apologized for his racist policies at his properties, where he was fined for refusing to rent to Black people.

Since you're so anti-racist, you must support BLM? Surely you're upset about how the police kill Black citizens at a rate 2 ½ times that of white citizens.
@Kwek00 Or did the residents of the South and Northeast switch places without anyone noticing?
Kwek00 · 41-45, M
@LeopoldBloom And the people from the north east suddenly started defending the use of confederate symbols? ... And what happened too the accents? And why did the KKK put Obama in the white house? And were tea party movements also infiltrated by the KKK when they were being overtly racist?

... I still think it's the: "Republicans pampered to a disenfranchised voter base" option. It's either that or space lasers.
