What was the first record / CD You bought ?

SammyJo · 51-55, F
I think it might have been Thin Lizzy's 'Jailbreak' album, back when it came out. I was with my mum, anyways. First I bought myself may well have been Def Leppard's debut album. I went to the shop all by myself! Big girl of, like, 10..

🥰

First single was Wig Wam Bam by Sweet.
First album was A Night at the Opera by Queen, though that was shared with my brother.
First album that wasn't shared was Outlandos d'Amour by The Police.
First 45 was Let's Dance (Chris Montez) while the first album was either New Piano In Town (Peter Nero) or The Call of the Wildest (Louis Prima).

I know I know... who? When was this?? LOL

It was an album by Dino, Desi and Billy. They were kids of famous actors doing cover songs. The lady at the music store recommended them. My parents listened to big band music so I didn't know much about rock and roll.
My mother smashed the record and threw the cover into the fireplace, I got it with my 1978 xmas money, I was 8 2/3 years old...
