@bookerdana In the sense that we don't know what's going on, nor what we are, and can't understand anyone, nor ourselves, his first book was meant to mercilessly destroy our misconceptions so that we can awaken, and start working on ourselves. Oh in a few years i'll be able to word it much better.

@bookerdana Ahh yes, but one's understanding is still fast asleep!!
bookerdana · M
@SW-User But virtually every form of Spiritually says that
SW-User
@bookerdana Well with Gurdjieff, there's spaceships and a whole wacky cosmology too, trippy stuff, planetary dimensions and so forth!!

@SW-User Remember Ebert
SW-User
@bookerdana I shall, sorry i put the stuff you suggested on hold. :(
bookerdana · M
@SW-User It was his Wife Chaz who said,It wa all a sham..he could see all of time
bookerdana · M
@bookerdana Also Aquinas who after seeing a vision of the Almighty said Everything I have written was turned to ashes
SW-User
@bookerdana Evocative of Isaiah when he had that vision of the Almighty and got his tongue burnt.

For even Ouspensky he didn't turn out too well, becoming alcoholic and stuff. I first read of these guys from a book about Blavatsky, who's The Secret Doctrine literally caused her death. The idea that if you do these teachings wrongly it could be like your cursed then, which for me amps up the intrigue, the danger of it all?? Am i converting you? ;)
bookerdana · M
@SW-User Not to read Blavatsky...✅ yes
SW-User
@bookerdana With George and Rudolf i may be able to read her, and for that, i'm EXCITED, oh my goodness though my memory of that when she's telling about the meaning of those fragments from tablets, NOT ONE WORD made a lick of sense!!
bookerdana · M
@SW-User not a good start..tell em to spit the pebbles out
SW-User
@bookerdana Then there's Annie Besant the 2nd biggest theosophist. From that milieu Krishnamurti came, whose writings are SOOOO applicable and lovely, i can imagine him thinking what is this bullshit, i gotta be the guy who makes some sense around here!!
bookerdana · M
@SW-User I have a book by Krishnamurti,my friend is was a big fan
SW-User
@bookerdana He a keeper, but in the last year i saw videos where he's acting like a chump with Chogyam Trungpa, a Tibetan Buddhist. Chogyam won that battle for sure.
bookerdana · M
@SW-User he was also a fan of Rajneeshee ..before the bio attacks😒

No one learns from THE Majoresi
SW-User
