I Like Classical Music

@Skylarkascending: I had a teacher who met him as a child. He said Satie was as funny (drôle) as the annotations on his music suggest.

Thank you for that. Now I know someone who knew someone who knew Erik Satie. I guess now I will have to read his annotations.

@firefall: Philip Glass recounts the story of driving a taxi cab early in his career when a woman passenger looked at his photograph on his hack license and said, "Mr. Glass, do you know there's a very famous composer with your name?" He said that he didn't have the heart to tell her the truth.
