No that music is instrumental and was designed that way, and we already have his 9th Choral, actually quite the top piece and not to be ever missed...

Some of Beethoven’s music (like in his 9th Symphony, "Ode To Joy") did have lyrics.

Maybe, or distract from the composition. I wonder what the lyrics would even be about

@caPnAhab
Imho lyrics would be 100% ridiculous. Every time I see this question "which makes a song more enjoyable to you - the music or the lyrics?" I wonder if music would make some of the world's great poems better or not.

@caPnAhab it was in honor of Napoleon and then he changed his mind, imagine the lyrics cause thats what were supposed to do

The classic music that does have lyrics are called operas.
Ohplease47 · F
@BlueSkyKing no many many old classic songs that still exist...rival the instrumental literature...try Shubert just 4 one. Or the old classic folk pieces 300 years old. Join a communiry chorus, half or more pieces will be hundreds of years old. So there. Try some Bach cantatas, you will never wonder again what happened to the classical HUMAN voice
