Dirt track racing night

A track along the Texas/Louisiana border. On average admission is $15-20. I enjoy this time of year because it’s not too hot. For those who haven’t been give it a try. There’s probably a track within an hour from your town

There is. Hagerstown Speedway. Red clay 1/2 mile track. Oldest dirt track in the state. It's noted as a horsepower track in all classes.
Marylands snobby population has removed many good racing venues in my lifetime especially the infamous Beltsville Speedway. I saw almost all of the NASCAR old timers there at some point on a Saturday night they had nothing else scheduled.

@Gibbon I have been to MIR for drag racing a few times.

@Musicman Yes that's a National yearly location in Southern Maryland. People are race friendly there so there's little risk of the snobs closing that place.

Try West Memphis, Arkansas, for some wild action

@sunsporter1649 We normally go to Arklatex & Boothill. Those are closest to where we live

Did you have a good time?

@SJones48 I live in Southern Florida. With all the snowbirds here we run two services in the winter. One at 9 and one at 11. I generally like the 9 am service. In the summer we just have one service at 10.

@Musicman I’m in eastern Texas near Shreveport

@SJones48 My wife grew up all over the US. She spent three of her teen years in Galveston.
