The governor of Texas has sent several busloads of illegal immigrants to NYC.

[c=800000]Texas is ground zero in this war between Biden's open door policy for illegals and states like Texas, which are trying to protect their economies and citizens. How do you feel about this? Are you of the "How DARE he" mindset concerning Governor Abbott? Or, do you think "That is SO clever!" [/c]

I support it. The federal government wants to do nothing so this is what they get. It's also showing what frauds and hypocrites people on the left are. They're showing that they don't want tons of immigrants going to their areas either. They're getting a taste of their own medicine.

Send them to Delaware

Martha's Vineyard would provide far greater economic opportunity for the undocumented immigrants than the Texas border communities. For those who may not know, Texas border counties are some of the poorest counties in the US, made even poorer by the Biden Administration's war against fossil fuels.

Annual per capita income in Webb county, Tx, is $19,000
Annual per capita income in Duke County, Ma is $44,000

Martha's Vineyard should easily accommodate thousands and thousands more undocumented immigrants. And considering all the apologetic, privileged whites who live there, and their perpetual willingness to pay higher and higher taxes, they can be counted on to welcome tens of thousands of undocumented immigrants with open arms.

I would suggest that Texas contract for a few 747s to hasten the transitions, and give the communities of Duke county a little extra time to accommodate their new arrivals before winter digs in.

I think this is an excellent opportunity for WOKE leftist to put their $$ and hearts where their mouths are.

Share the wealth (checked)
Higher taxes (checked)
Diversity (checked)
Free healthcare for immigrants (checked)

WOW!! an opportunity made in heaven!

Illegal send them back home, no excuses

Or

Allow the them to live at your home for free if you support them
Martha’s Vineyard would be better..

@TheOneyouwerewarnedaboutI agree. Let them camp out on Barak's lawn.
daydeeo · 61-69, M
Brilliant move. The only way to get their attention.
It's not just the border states' problem, it's a national problem. Abbott's strategy is forcing them to deal with it.
Dshhh · M
well texas cannot work without Mexicans and many farms and processor plants use them. many of those are illegal.
a bus load or two is negligible
it is just political theatre for the Trumpist Base
Starcrossed · 41-45, F
I think its disgraceful disgusting. How the fuck is this not some kind of sick human trafficking when some of them have been lied to about jobs or destinations. They're clearly being used and abused for another's personal political gain.

It's not like sanctuary states wouldn't work to find social services if simply these governors would even attempt to coordinate.

It makes me so effing sad they treat treating other human beings so disrespectfully.
daydeeo · 61-69, M
@Starcrossed The federal government is treating them disrespectfully. This is a national problem. Why should Texas or Arizona be forced to deal with it, when the feds refuse to?
It blows my mind that these "liberal" officials get all bent out of shape over a few hundred people, when the border states have to deal with 1000s and 1000s EVERY SINGLE DAY.
Heartlander · 80-89, M
@Starcrossed The federal government has been dropping them off at random street corners for months.
Baremine · 70-79, C
Abbott is right on Biden caused the problem so send them to the Whitehouse.
chrisCA · M
Who will do the work that White Americans won't do? 🤔
ronisme1 · 61-69, M
I thought the law states if you catch them, send them back where they cane from
ProfessorPlum77 · 70-79, MVIP
@ronisme1 [c=800000]I think it was an executive order under Trump. I think Biden rewrote it soon after he was inaugurated. [/c]
ronisme1 · 61-69, M
@ProfessorPlum77 must be a state thing. Calif law says to send them back if caught. Has been thst way since the 60s. I think if they petition they can stay in the states by the border and wait.
ProfessorPlum77 · 70-79, MVIP
@ronisme1 [c=800000]You may be correct. I am going from memory. [/c]
Heartlander · 80-89, M
A handfuls of 747s could move 10,000 illegal immigrants a day directly from Mexico or Central America to Delaware.
Heartlander · 80-89, M
When will they send buses to Vermont, Boston, Cape Cod and Martha's Vineyard?
MrBrownstone · 46-50, M
The Democrats are sending them back because they are racist.
