@carpediem I think New Yorkers got lazy and didn't go out and vote! 12% of NYC residents are Jewish! 11% of NYC voters are Republican.

But remembering back to the ridiculous candidates, Sliwa was a joke, and Andrew Cuomo was SO horribly unpopular after what he did during Covid...I don't think it's surprising that a good looking smooth talker got over on the voters.

@Barefooter25 It's awful that he was able to win the election with ALL of his hatreds. New Yorkers REALLY have to turn out to the polls next time, and vote for ANYBODY else.
