@SW-User What difference does it make if it was 1980 or this year? Murder is still murder. It wasn't meant to be funny at all.
SW-User
@BijouPleasurette By that argument, Dallas and Memphis must be the most dangerous cities in the world because a president was murdered in Dallas once and someone killed the greatest civil rights leader of our time in Memphis. Those murders are irrelevant to the current condition of a city decades later. Leadership changed several times, the population changed, policies change. If you are just trolling, it worked, you've gotten a response. But if you genuinely care, then you should try and learn more about the subject your posting about.

@SW-User Huh? 🤔
BijouPleasurette · 36-40, F
@saragoodtimes Why not? What happened?
the city like most Dem run cities has gone to hell. crime, drugs, not safe to walk the streets or use the subway. used to love shopping on 5th ave., the Met, Broadway, Radio City, the restaurants in Little Italy.

@saragoodtimes it's really sad that you believe that. NY is one of the safest big cities on the planet. The propaganda created to scare people away from cities is vile.

Substitute the name of any big city and the answer is always "NO."
BijouPleasurette · 36-40, F
@exexec I live in a big city myself and I wouldn't rather live anywhere else. I can get everything I want easily. What's wrong with big cities?
exexec · 61-69, C
@BijouPleasurette Too much concrete. Too many people. Bad smells. No trees or animals. I grew up in a small "county seat" town and spent most of my free time outdoors away from people. I still like that, even though I live in the 'burbs now.
BijouPleasurette · 36-40, F
@exexec There are plenty of animals in my neighbourhood, especially dogs and cats, and nobody loves animals more than I do, especially dogs. We have a local park with trees in it.

I love to visit NYC for a few days at a time. I like Broadway shows, the food, people watching, the holiday street fair in Union Square, T-swirl Crepes.
