Do you love New York?

@SW-User Safest? I thought it was one of the most violent cities in the States.

@BijouPleasurette Nope. Like all cities where there is a significant number of people, there's going to be crime and there's going to be bad neighborhoods but the idea that it's a crime ridden hellscape is ridiculous propaganda.

@SW-User OK, what happened to John Lennon? Wasn't he murdered in New York? If that can happen to one of the most popular singers in the world, what chances have lesser known people? I shudder to think.

@BijouPleasurette Lennon was killed in 1980. That's a ludicrous response. Makes me think you must be making a poor attempt at satire.

@SW-User What difference does it make if it was 1980 or this year? Murder is still murder. It wasn't meant to be funny at all.

@BijouPleasurette By that argument, Dallas and Memphis must be the most dangerous cities in the world because a president was murdered in Dallas once and someone killed the greatest civil rights leader of our time in Memphis. Those murders are irrelevant to the current condition of a city decades later. Leadership changed several times, the population changed, policies change. If you are just trolling, it worked, you've gotten a response. But if you genuinely care, then you should try and learn more about the subject your posting about.
