Compare it the US and that is so miniscule, but if it is a problem where you are then it should be addressed
@Mert5356 Are you comparing the city of London to the US?
@Mert5356 We're neck-and-neck

In February and March, 37 people were killed in London, compared to 35 in the Big Apple, according to the Sunday Times.

@Mert5356 I don't know the US capital or equivalent stats but I'll take your word. I suppose I will worry more when the crimes stop making the daily news. I suppose we still have a chance to throw everything at it.
@Ironicman It's nothing for either country to brag about, and it is sobering

@Mamapolo2016 thanks, we certainly have a problem to solve.

@Mamapolo2016 my post wasn't to compare. I'm genuinely depressed when I keep hearing about young lives being lost so casually and so unnecessarily .
@Ironicman If it makes you feel any better, looks like our capitol has only 693,000 pop and 34 murders so far this year compared to NYC and London.
@Ironicman I know that. Americans or Brits, they're still lost to all of us
I truly believe we have grown far too tolerant of murder. I get sick when I hear someone killed a twenty year old and got sentenced to ten years in prison. At the very LEAST the sentence should be at least the number of years they stole from their victim, by life expectancy tables.

@Mamapolo2016 yes, well said. I wholeheartedly agree
