Pro-life extremist Georgia Senate candidate Herschel Walker paid for girlfriend's abortion

The Daily Beast reports that Herschel Walker, the former football star running for Senate in Georgia, in 2009 encouraged his girlfriend to have an abortion after he impregnated her, and paid for the procedure. Walker, a Republican, is running on a pro-life extremist platform that opposes abortion with no exceptions, including rape and to save the mother's life. Walker's son Christian has confirmed this, revealing that Walker's family opposed his candidacy as they knew it would reveal the skeletons in Walker's closet. Walker said yesterday when the story broke that he would sue the Daily Beast "tomorrow," meaning we should expect a court filing today.

Walker, who was endorsed by former president Donald Trump, is running to unseat the incumbent Senator, Democrat Raphael Warnock, who is pro-choice. The race is a statistical tie. Walker's campaign has been plagued by allegations of domestic violence, mental illness, and false claims that he worked for the FBI.

@Pikachu Whoever is advising Walker's campaign is guilty of malpractice. If Walker had admitted to the abortion, expressed regret and said he asked God to forgive him, that would be the end of it. Now, he's almost challenging the Daily Beast to release the evidence they have. Sadly, this won't erode his support much, but hopefully enough to let Warnock squeak past. There is also a libertarian on the ballot who will definitely suck more votes from Walker than Warnock.

@Prison1203 FFS I didn't "lie." I used the word "reported" when I should have used "said." You're the one who jumped to the unwarranted conclusion that I said the clinic workers revealed the names of their patients.

You're starting to come across as obsessed here. We're talking about Herschel Walker, who really did lie about paying for an abortion, but you want to make a federal case out of me typing too fast and using the wrong word.
