My boyfriend is a combat veteran

Lost the lower part of his left leg to an IED in Operation Inherent Resolve against ISIS along the Iraqi/Syrian boarder.

We attend the same church together and today as part of a Faith Builder rally for all of Central Florida he was a speaker sharing his experience overseas and how in the darkest of times it gave him strength and a deep resolve to live a life of helping others.

So proud of him.

God Bless him and thank you to him and to you for his service. My husband suffered a TBI outside of Fallujah when his humvee was hit by an IED so I know the sacrifice feels. 🙏🏻🇺🇸

@Punxi Blessings to you and yours. They are amazing men. Volunteering to write a blank check up to and including their own lives. Your post moved me. ❤

Kate you know my respect for men like your husband. Punxi that respect is extended to your BF. They are a rare breed of men who are willing to do what they do. Some come home, but none come home whole after seeing combat. We must do better to care for our veterans.
