a woman in Florida was pulled over by a cop for driving with her phone in her hand ( a law being enacted in most states here) when the officer approached the car he realized it wasn't a phone but her stump. apparently she lost her hand in an accident. instead of letting her go he gave her a ticket for distracted driving. good news is an understanding Judge let her off with just a slap on the wrist. appologies for adding my own bit of humor to this story

What is bad is the cop didn't look for the prothesis she was using to hold the phone. She most likely wedged it under her butt or between the seats and pulled it off as he walked up to the car. Pretty simple to figure out if you use logic which the cop failed to do. She was too ready for him to ticket her her and waiving her stump around willingly and quickly is the "tell".
