Anybody else live in Florida and riding out hurricane Idalia?

We live in South West Florida. The storm is not supposed to come ashore anywhere near us, but we are supposed to have 2 to 4 foot storm surge and 3 inches of rain. Even though Idalia isn't supposed to make landfall until tomorrow morning the outer bands of rain started 15 minutes ago. Stay safe everyone.

@iamonfire696 we are fine. it ended up going way up and hitting north florida and georgia. my mom lives in georgia. she said that a tree fell where she is at. I am just glad I have stuff for the next hurricane. It's hurricane season right now. so I'm sure there will be more. I hope everyone who got it bad gets it together real soon

@Musicman noooo. they happen all the time. Irma was bad. We evacuated to Tennessee. Some of my neighbors stayed. A tree fell on someone's car and they lost electricity for two weeks. That one took a while to recover from.

@DeluxedEdition You are very smart. We went to Waco Texas and did the Chip and Joanna Gaines thing. We don't come back until the electricity is back on.
