The Unbearable Heat

I have lived in Florida for 39 years. The heat doesn't bother me until now. It is 99 degrees today with a heat index of 114 so imagine working outside on the yard and the house.

We got an HOA notice that we need to keep our flower beds and yard up. yeah right. I am window washing and painting this weekend. they are lucky my yard looks as good as it does.

Over 100 again on the Texas coast, plus no rain for over a month. I try to water my plants enough to keep them alive, but my lawn can just die. I'm not wasting water on it.

@exexec we are absolutely deluged with rain. i have to mow every single week. then i got inundated with snails. all over the house

@exexec you should see them. they were crawling up my house. non stop lots.
