Under Florida's new nickname rules I'd have to get my parent's permission to be called Rob in school.

This country gets sillier and sillier ever day.

My dad's name is Robin. He hated when anyone called him "Rob" or "Robby". lol
@DearAmbellina2113 my real name is actually Robert, and I've been Rob forever. But long long ago Robert was a derivative of Robin. So the names are kind of intertwined.

@originnone and if you're a baseball fan you must remember Robin Yount as well.

@robingoodfellow Dang! I forgot Yount....I'm embarrassed.
@originnone he was a hitting machine when I was a kid.

@robingoodfellow I was a closet Seattle Pilots fan. Yount never got a lot of publicity playing in Milwaukee; I was surprised they put him in the HOF, though he deserved it.
@robingoodfellow I always think of Robin Gibb. One of my favorite guy’s names mostly because of him. ☺️

@originnone Did you ever know what the word "pompatus" meant ?
originnone · 61-69, M
@bijouxbroussard I actually looked it up several years ago....not a word at all...but has a nice rhythm with the other words in the line....

@robingoodfellow Robin Hood!
@JSul3 a girl in high school nicknamed me that.
She was kinda ditzy. Nice, but ditzy.
