Florida just passed a law that child molesters could be sentenced to death. Do you agree or disagree and why?

It’s just one more opportunity to kill someone who might actually be innocent. Been there, done that. You lock someone up and you’re wrong, because they couldn’t afford a competent defense, you can release and kind of compensate them for those stolen years. But you can’t give someone back his or her life, once that’s been taken.

I hate child molesters. Lock them up. But like I said, we’ve already executed people for various crimes—and been wrong. Our system is just not efficient or equitable enough for the death penalty.
