Florida just passed a law that child molesters could be sentenced to death. Do you agree or disagree and why?

Considering they prefaced this by ruling that trans people and drag queens are a threat to children (by existing, not by actually doing anything)... yeah this isn't a good thing.

Also, by their laws two 14 year olds having sex is illegal. So... death penalty?

@CountScrofula If conservatives had their way then everyone would get the death penalty. Everyone from murders, s3x offenders, even jaywalkers.

@SW-User Someone who has harmed a child probably has no right to life, and I don't say that lightly.

The issue is less whether or not the punishment fits the crime, it's if we can give the punishment fairly. This is a political stunt, it's not about protecting children.
