Been there like 100 times. Hahahaha
The taxi drivers are like, "You want to see where Dark Knight was filmed?" And take me here.
Without fail Hahahaha

@SW-User Oh that's right, the Dark Knight was filmed in Chicago. So I guess you probably would find the Joker down there 🤭.

@SubstantialKick Something fun, you remember the scene in the Dark Knight when Joker blows up the hospital? No CGI was used for that shot. They actually blew up a real building. It was the old Brach's candy factory. The company moved locations and so they had an entire property with a massive factory completely abandoned, and the film crew dressed it up to look like a hospital and then exploded it with TNT.

@BlueMetalChick Yeah, I read about that somewhere when the film came out in 2008.

@SubstantialKick Years before it got exploded, me and several friends broke into the abandoned factory on Halloween night so we could explore around with flashlights. We also brought a backpack full of snacks and a book of scary stories to tell in the dark.

@BlueMetalChick Damn, sounds like an adventure...

@SubstantialKick Last year we did it with an abandoned wire factory. That one was especially fun because it'd clearly been forsaken for some time. There was a bulletin board with some OSHA paperwork that had been stamped in 1996.
