To those of us living on Dish With One Spoon Territory (Montreal to Fort Erie)

A reminder to those of us from Montreal to Fort Erie that we live on the Dish With One Spoon territory. The Dish With One Spoon wampum agreement is an Indigenous citizenship law made between the Haudenosaunee and Anishinaabe nations consisting of three basic rules:
1. Take only what you need
2. Leave some for everybody else
3. Keep it clean.

@Ontheroad yes it is. It’s a good reminder that we are living in a greedy society these days

@Jenny1234 me, me, me is what I hear and see... we've forgotten there are others who live on this planet.

This is so cool. Can you tell me more about this? Where can I get more information? Thank you.
Jenny1234 · 56-60, F
@powernap you can google Dish With One Spoon and get loads of hits. Here's one good reference https://trc.journalism.torontomu.ca/land-acknowledgement/

This photo location is in south-west Toronto, down by the lakeshore and just north-west of Toronto Island, right?
swirlie · 31-35
@Jenny1234
Okay, good! I was there earlier today and for a minute, I thought I was somewhere else!
Jenny1234 · 56-60, F
@swirlie did you see the billboard?
swirlie · 31-35
@Jenny1234
No actually, I don't generally see billboards unless my picture is on one. Then, I stop and take a selfie of myself with the billboard behind me which I add to my resumé of great achievements in my life.
