Jesus Is All The World To Me

Jesus, God the Father, and the Holy Spirit, all are God. They are all part of the Trinity yet each a separate person of the Trinity, which is referred to as a whole, as "God". They are in unity constantly, consulting with each other at all times, and make their decisions.

Why do I believe in God?

I could write a book on it. God is so real, yet people refuse to believe it. Yet, I don't know how they could miss it all.

God loved me, though I was unlovable.
God loves me, though I am a sinner. Yet I am a sinner, saved by grace, thanks to Jesus. Jesus forgave me and transformed my whole life. He never turned me away and he never will anyone. Grace is unearned favor from God and anyone can have it. Jesus died for the world, not just one.

Jesus has shown me many miracles for those who believe. He saved my daughter from dying when the doctors gave up on her and told her she would die in a week. The family got together and prayed for her though she had given up on herself because all her organs were shutting down and her kidneys were, already. But the family prayed for her and God saved her. Instantly! And there were witnesses to see it.

You can't go wrong trusting Jesus and inviting him into your heart and life to be your Savior.

Jesus is the best friend you could ever have in the world. Though people lie and say he wants nothing but to hurt people and throw them in hell. What hypocrisy, what lies.

In the 50 years I have known and served him willingly, out of love not fear as some false teachers would tell you or naysayers..... he never abandoned me, he never stopped loving me though I made mistakes, he has done nothing but love me, care for me, protect me, has even healed me a few times, rescued me, never hurt me, has always been there for me through thick and thin, someone I can trust completely as my best friend. A friend in every way you can imagine. I can only say good about him because he is good. He's the only one that is good and worthy of being called good, and he is the best friend you'll ever have if you decide you want that.

God is love personified and he is perfect. He cannot err and he cannot lie. There is no sin in him. And he sticks with you until the end, always. There's just nothing negative that I could ever say or feel for him after all he has done for me and thousands of others that have accepted him as their Savior. He is a Way Maker, Miracle Worker, and Light in the Darkness.

His love does not require that we be "good" in order for him to accept us. He loves us just the way we are. We already have his love, we don't have to earn it, as some false treachers say.

I could say more, but you get the picture. Jesus said now is the time to make our choice whether we are going to accept him as our Savior or not. He turns no one away.

He died on the cross to save me from the condemnation placed on me... and the whole world. No one forced him to do that. He didn't have to do that, but he did. He volunteered. had he not, every one of us would have went to hell. He not only said he loves me, he proved it. There's nothing more he could have done, to prove His love for us. For that I am forever grateful and he is mine until I go home to meet him face to face and fall at his feet in love and gratitude, because he alone deserves all the honor and all the praise for what he did for the world.

Jesus gave his all for me. His very best, even unto death. Who am I that he should do this for me, and care? I cannot give him less than my best, in return.

@Lostpoet There are false teachers everywhere and Jesus warned us about them and in this world, we should always be at guard.

@LadyGrace I don't think I know what's false and what isn't anymore. I know you are supposed to have an open heart and pray about those kinds of things i just haven't been very religious these last few years.
@Lostpoet Yes. Well, false teachers, the Bible describes as those who claim to follow Christ, yet they are teaching and preaching something other than the gospel of Christ. God says in his word they shall be accursed. And he also said the way to know if they are telling you the truth, is to see if what they say matches up with His Word and if it doesn't he said to leave them, even if it is a minister that is preaching the wrong gospel.

@LadyGrace I know but what is God's word? He sent Jesus down but Jesus never wrote anything all the words of the bible were written by his followers and then the stories were selected by whomever king James decided to make responsible for them. They way i was taught is you are supposed to read the Bible or (any religious text) and while your reading or later praying on it God will tell you if it's true or not.
it's just been along time since i have read the scriptures and prayed that i no longer get that feeling anymore.
@Lostpoet Actually Jesus is against religion. Religion is described by God as man-made philosophy which contradicts His Word. In other words, they adhere to their own philosophy about salvation and their teachings our contrary to God's Word. They make up their own philosophy on what they think salvation is and ignore what God says it is. For example, some religions tell people that one has to do good works in order to be saved. The Bible does not teach that. It is God that sets the standard for salvation, not man, so theirs is man-made philosophy. Anyone can have religion, and go through the motions, but man does not get to set the standard on how to be saved, FOR God. People worship idols and God said no. Religion did not die on the cross for us and that's why Christians do not call their beliefs "religion". Religion is empty and without Christ. Religion did not die on the cross for our sins, Jesus did. That makes it a relationship with God. God did not die for the religions of this world or any denominations, in that he died for ALL. For the world, no matter what their religion. But a personal relationship with God is when we make up our mind that we want to walk with the Lord and no one else and invite him into our heart and life to be our Savior.

@LadyGrace I think the average person doesn't even know what's right and if God doesn't give you a confirmation on what's right then how does anyone know. I don't believe that faith is blind i think that when you have the spirit you know you have it without a doubt. And i am very much in doubt about what the spirit is anymore.

23 The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.

2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.

3 He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.

4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

Even if you don't want to do certain things Jesus is still the guide and he's supposed to guide us. But when i look i don't see any shepherds.
@Lostpoet I'm glad you mentioned this. A lot of people teach the wrong thing on this about the Bible. But that is just Satan wanting to turn people against God and His Word.

First, I will say that the Bible is a good historical document. But so much more. But I want to say that God left us his word to Future Generations so that we would not have to guess how to have salvation. The Bible is the most wonderful book in the world. It not only tells us the past history but it also tells us what's going to happen in the future and no other book can do that with 100% accuracy. All of God's prophecies, to date, have all come to pass. And all of his future prophecies shall do the same. It is a 100% reliable work of the Holy Spirit. Not man and that's why we can rely on it. It is 100% trustworthy. I'll explain that in a minute.

I guess that's why the Smithsonian Department of Anthropology said this about the Bible (referring to history).

"Much of the Bible, in particular the historical books of the old testament, are as accurate historical documents as any that we have and are, in fact, more accurate than many of the Egyptian, Mesopotamian, or Greek histories. These Biblical records are used, as are other ancient documents in archeological work. For the most part, historical events described, took place, and the peoples cited, really existed."

The only part I don't agree with what the Smithsonian said about being as accurate as any, is because there's no book that can compare to God's Own Word, because it is 100% accurate. It is man that messes up the meaning and twists things around and makes people believe it's not accurate but has contradictions and such and that is just not true. A perfect God such as the Lord God Almighty, who is perfect in every way and cannot sin, does not sin, never sins, and is no liar, did not hand us down His own Word, with flaws, errors, or contradictions. That is what some people say and that is a devil's lie. False teachers are those who presume to teach in their own authority (as did the scribes), often in the Name of the Lord, when He has not sent them. Some may even have knowledge of Biblical truths, yet still are teaching false Doctrine made up according to them, not the Bible.

There is no error in God's Word. The law of the Lord is perfect concerning our soul. The testimony of the Lord is not only infallible, it is inerrant. Proverbs 30:5-6, "Every word of God is pure; He is a shield to those who put their trust in Him. Do not add to His words, Lest He rebuke you, and you be found a liar."

Whole books of the Bible are devoted to countering false teaching in the early church (2 Peter and Jude). “Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world” (1 John 4:1). The test for any teaching is whether or not it aligns with the teaching of Jesus in His Word, and the apostles.

God did not and entrust the writing of his word to just anyone. The prophets did not write their own opinions, but rather, wrote God’s very words. “For the prophecy came NOT in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God wrote as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.” (2 Peter 1:21) there is a Greek word for that but right now I can't remember it.

We don't change God's message -- His message changes us. If God's grace depends on our cooperation, then it is no longer grace. And as long as man thinks he can save himself, he remains lost. Take Jesus Out of God's Plan of Salvation, and It Leaves It Null and Void. Salvation is not a matter of adopting religious rituals, but rather of God saving people of every race, through faith in Christ alone.

There are other words in the bible that SEEM to say something they're not, and therefore appear contradictory. However, to be fair, when we are studying scripture, it is important to consider the entire chaper and context in which it was written, as well as the place, time period, customs, whom the words were addressed to, and why. Only then, can we rightly learn the Word and accurately depict it's true meaning. What one word may mean in one text, may mean something altogether different, in another.

The Bible stands just as strong today as it did thousands of years ago. None cannot disprove its authority, and none cannot deny its words of wisdom.

You are a very wise person. You noticed that too, I see. That's exactly right and I have to ask myself the same: WHERE are God's disciples that He told to spread the good news of salvation? We see less and less of them because these are the end times we are living in and people's hearts will grow cold and turn away from Christ, but not the genuine followers.
@LadyGrace I found that Greek word I was trying to find for you.

In 2 Timothy 3:16, Paul stated that all scripture is literally "God breathed" and is useful for teaching us, rebuking those who teach false doctrine, correcting, and training in righteousness. This is the only use in the Bible of the Greek word "theopneustos", which means "God breathed", inspired by God, due to the inspiration of God, and other scriptural passages support scripture as being inspired by God. Here we see the truths of scripture described as coming directly from god, not from the will of the writers he used to record them. These were holy men of old, prophets of God. Paul confirms that scripture comes from the Holy Spirit, who "gave it to us in words taught by the spirit, expressing spiritual truths and spiritual words." 1st Corinthians 2:13

You're exactly right. That's why Jesus came, to give us direction and show us what is the right way. That's why he left us the Bible, His Word.... so we wouldn't have to guess how to have salvation and to lead us down the right path, but no one will know that if they don't read His Word. That's not blind faith. God told us exactly what to do and how to do it. He didn't leave us in the dark.

Jesus clearly told us that he is the way, the truth, and the life. Yet people say God is a liar and that's exactly what Satan wants them to believe. God's word is a light unto our path and a lamp unto our feet, that leads us through the darkness of this world and shows us the way to heaven. The Bible says there will be no excuse for people who say they didn't know how to be saved. But some people don't want to find God in this world, for the same reason a thief can't find a cop. They do not want to live by God's standards but want to make up their own and that's where they get all this confusion coming in. And God is not the author of confusion. Satan is and the Bible says so.
when you have the spirit you know you have it without a doubt.
I love what you said here about the spirit, however, people are not aware of how to receive the spirit. One does not receive it automatically. For all these answers we can always go to the Bible to find the truth. Jesus said the Holy Spirit is only given to us, when we accept him as a Savior, ask for forgiveness of our sins, God the Father then forgives us, our sins or then erased from the account of our life and we start over as new Creations in Christ. Jesus washes our sins away and they are remembered no more. When that happens, since we made a commitment to live by God's Word and live by His Word, This is when the Holy Spirit is sent to us, a clean vessel for Him to dwell in, transform our whole life to a brand new life in Christ, to be our teacher and guide, through our whole lives. It has nothing to do with feelings. It has everything to do with God's promises to save us and keep us always, unto eternity. We don't have to guess. We know we are saved because God keeps his word to us to save us and nothing can ever again separate us from the love of God and we shall live with him eternally in heaven. That's a promise. That's Security in Christ. God never breaks a promise. When a person gets saved, God doesn't remove our old dead spirit. He sends his Holy Spirit to transform our spirit, and make it alive through Christ, and our spirit is awakened to God and all the spiritual things, and gives us an understanding through the Holy Spirit, regarding spiritual things and our "spiritual eyes" are opened up, which means that being now saved, we can understand God's world now and things pertaining to the spiritual world. It is the Holy Spirit that teaches us all things, as we read the Word and he reveals the meaning of God, and the "why" of everything, because we now have the Holy Spirit to teach us these things. Without the Holy Spirit one cannot know things of the spirit. That is exactly why the Bible says that one cannot understand the things of God, unless he is born of the spirit. This speaks of the Holy Spirit, when he came to dwell in those who accepted Jesus as their Savior. Spirit understands Spirit. God said if you do not have the Holy Spirit then that's why people call the Word of God foolishness because they don't have the Holy Spirit to interpret the Word for them, and therefore they cannot understand it.
