CLEAR MISTAKES IN THE BIBLE
Kings 8:26
Ahaziah was twenty-two years old when he became king, and he reigned one year in Jerusalem. His mother’s name was Athaliah the granddaughter of Omri, king of Israel.

Chronicles 22:2 (ESV)
Ahaziah was forty-two years old when he became king, and he reigned one year in Jerusalem. His mother’s name was Athaliah the granddaughter of Omri.

@Lionehaza have you looked to see the original that it's translated from?

Translation error and error in original text are different
Lionehaza · 31-35, M
@th3r0n which one?
Disgustedman · 61-69, M
@Lionehaza when you consider this was passed down verbally for centuries obviously they made some mistakes or forgot some things I'm not saying the Bible is perfect I'm just saying that it has some inaccuracies as with verbally retelling incidents as the years go by.

The thing is the basics of it still remain, having faith, belief, acting in accordance with certain rules and regulations. The funniest thing is if people sat down and really read it, really saw the truth in it, about 85% of the churches today would realize "Oh my God we're wrong in our beliefs, and actions, we should return to the old ways"

But they don't, they won't and sadly very few will be saved.
th3r0n · 41-45, M
@Lionehaza well both of them because they're being compared

It's irresponsible to say there's an error in the translated text without mentioning that it's the translated text with the error, if in fact the error is not contained in text

Many things God told people to write, others are written about what happened, and we are told which in context
th3r0n · 41-45, M
@Disgustedman I do agree strongly
Lionehaza · 31-35, M
@Disgustedman ya though what you say seems logical i think not only this two verses are contradicting but also there are other verses....and i don't mean its all a lie...it has truth in it for sure...some wisdom in it because it has Gods wisdom in it...but partially...some are unscientific some are contradicting but it also had great verses in it.
Lionehaza · 31-35, M
@th3r0n i dont know which one is original i mean there are more than 20 revised versions.....should i look at hebrew bible ? do you consider it original?
th3r0n · 41-45, M
@Lionehaza in curious actually if it is now, but there are original scrolls available

Scans of those possibly? I know the word of God is true, I've seen his power
Lionehaza · 31-35, M
@th3r0n HIS POWER IS EVERYWHERE IN THE UNIVESRSE.i have seen how God created the biggest and hottest star the sun and put it on the right place far from earth.1 inch closer will boil earth,1 inch far will make earth Antarctica....The God alter the day and night to count our age days and time.He circulates the clouds and distributes rain to places he wish he created the world with a cover ozone so that the sun ray don't harm us.ALL this things indicates that there is GOD BUT THE QUESTION IS WHO Really GOD IS?We can only know through scriptures and scriptures should be perfect because GOD IS PERFECT...
Disgustedman · 61-69, M
@Lionehaza yes regarding one verse it was unscientific but it was quite interesting. The one is "Go to the ant thou sluggard and consider her ways. They have no King yet they are industrious"

Obviously the scientists learn later yes they do have a queen and she is the one who breeds but the rest of it is pretty true those ants just go along with everything do their job and die without knowledge of their world around them.

And the bees are very similar they don't have a king but they do have a queen and so obviously they were written at a view of commoner not scientific level.
th3r0n · 41-45, M
@Disgustedman they do have a queen, not a king

And the queen is the reproduction, not leadership

They don't have to be told to do their work
Random3838 · 36-40, M
@Lionehaza you were proven wrong about this the other day on another one of your posts. You purposely changed the age yourself. The ESV translation has the same age for both passages.

STOP with the falsehoods.
Lionehaza · 31-35, M
@Random3838 hebrew bible is the only bible from which all other bibles should be translated.Sir i have seen it there tooo. The mistake is there and there are also contradictions in ESV version.u like it or not...
Lionehaza · 31-35, M
@Random3838 While they were still talking about this, Jesus himself stood among them and said to them, “Peace be with you.”

37 They were startled and frightened, thinking they saw a ghost. 38 He said to them, “Why are you troubled, and why do doubts rise in your minds? 39 Look at my hands and my feet. It is I myself! Touch me and see; a ghost does not have flesh and bones, as you see I have.”

40 When he had said this, he showed them his hands and feet. 41 And while they still did not believe it because of joy and amazement, he asked them, “Do you have anything here to eat?” 42 They gave him a piece of broiled fish, 43 and he took it and ate it in their presence.
