What if we stopped asking God to change our circumstances, and started asking Him to change us through them?

The latter is how he does it and it's all for His glory.
@BritishFailedAesthetic

Aw how beautiful! A mother watches her infant die of cancer for his "glory" 🤪🤪🤪
@Pikachu I don't know where you're from but the mainstream American church seems to have a profound impact on your mind.

Firstly the Hillsong types that only praise God or think of him when good things happen, they go to church for their weekly dose and then spend the rest of the week acting like he doesn’t exist.

Or your mind with what I said may have gone to Westboro where they cruelly rejoice at tragedies around the world, which we are not told to do.

What? You think when my wife had her second miscarriage this year I was jumping up and down with joy?

God's glory is infinite in every sense- spending an eternity with him won't even scratch the surface of His glory, and infinite can include infinitely unknowable and impossible to understand.

If we could fully understand God, he wouldn't and couldn't be God.

@Pikachu Missed an obvious human cue but yes, it would sound like that to someone outside of Christ.

@Pikachu Ok you might be someone who can't pick up on cues, my bad.
