What’s a Christian discipleship class?

I’m just curious because a friend of mine mentioned going to one with friends from her church.

In our United Methodist church, it is a study for people professing to be Christians, offering guidance on what it means to be a true disciple of Christ. What kind of life do you live? How do you serve Christ if he is truly your Lord and not just your Savior? It also offers help in how to improve your faith.
