Yes, i would say it would be seeing that charity is the greatest virtue.

Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves.
Philippians 2:3
@Random3838 do you understand the meaning of Solipsism ?
Random3838 · 36-40, M
@Zenbra yes i do at least the common definition of it.
@Random3838 The theory that the self is the only thing that can be known and verified.

@Zenbra thats the philosophical definition of it. Other use of the word is selfishness. Either way, both are against Christian morals and beliefs.
@Random3838 I meant the philosophical meaning. but yes I agree

@Zenbra i would even say that in the philosophical sense, it is still selfishness since it evolves around ones own mind or in other terms, it is a self-centered school of thought.

Only debate i can see in this would be if someone says that Christianity cannot be observed or is certain to exist. However, to a Christian, our religion is verified and observed. But it is an interesting topic.
@Random3838 an interesting topic true.Although I don't see it as selfish at all. I think as a philosophy it doesent go against any religion?

@Zenbra well, according to your definition, self is the only thing that can be known and verified. This is the debatable part. Because in Christianity, we have verifiable proof of the existence of God which is outside of our self. But then the skeptic would say that is based on belief. Thus the debate.

On the other hand, it would also depend on what someone thinks known and verified means.
@Random3838 I believe in God , and the existence of God but I don't believe that its verifiable. I don't believe in the definition of it being selfish but rather in the existence of self. Yes, it's debatable, but also quiet clearly possible.
