if life was created discreetly in different kinds why use the word discreetly - there would be no reason for the ERVs to function as they has - not necessarily.
I am no scholar, I can only read and understand fairly everything that is said when it's written simply. One thing that I understand about scripture God did not discreetly create anything. When you read scripture you find that:
God told the Earth to bring forth plants
God told the sea to bring forth living creatures *abundantly*
God told the Earth to bring forth beast and cattle, notice beast came first ( like dinosaurs and such)
God formed man and *placed* him in the garden - man may not have even been created on Earth but from the dust of the earth (meaning elements)
And whatever dysfunctions, mutations, RNA, DNA, genetic traits, chromosomes, etc etc etc God designed it within.
And it seems as if they've all been timed to come out at certain periods in the lifespan of man and the strangest thing is most of them comes from animals. It seems that way yet it is because it's actually man's actions - what men do to release these viruses. This particular one infected primates and was passed down to the generation or as science would say evolution of man. I wonder if it was passed down the same way man contracted the modern day HIV from the primates?

And the retrovirus you spoken of actually helps man in some degrees.

@LordShadowfire no you - after all your comment was first

@SDavis Doesn't matter. You were the one who made the positive claim, that God not only exists but called everything into existence. Without evidence to support your claim, I'm going to just dismiss it.

@LordShadowfire please do - my reply was to a positive claim therefore I was not the first one - so please do dismiss it and continue to dismiss it. And when you see him coming from the clouds in the sky bet your scream alien invasion and try to hide.
